Alumni

The “RBVRR Women’s College of Pharmacy Alumni Association was (RBVRRWCPAA)” formed and registered in 2012. The association is formed to provide a forum for the alumni to interact & share the information. The college is proud of its alumni who are spread all over the globe and made significant contributions to their organizations. The college is fortunate in having dedicated alumni who are generous in sparing their time and experience in promoting the college. The college welcomes the assistance of those alumni willing to share their experiences with current students to provide the career guidance and mentor ship. Upon graduation from the college, each alumnus shall automatically be a member of RBVRRWCPAA.

Objectives:

  • RBVRRWCPAA provides a forum to establish a link between the college and its alumni and strives to strengthen the life long relationship between them.
  • To extend the help to the students for placement and industrial training.
  • To act as a bridge between college and the industries for interaction on new developments in different disciplines of pharmacy.
  • To assist the college to promote R & D activities and consultancy.
  • To extend financial help to economically backward and deserving students in the form of scholarship for UG, PG and higher studies abroad.
  • To encourage the students from this college by awarding prizes to meritorious students showing bright performance in the field of education, sports and cultural.
  • To enrich the library by donating books and also by subscribing journals in the field of Pharmacy.
  • To extend every possible help to the college authorities for overall progress of the institution.
  • To organize programmes on personality development, interview technique and leadership development, education in health science, yoga, literature, sports etc.

Alumni Committee Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Adopt the Alumni Committee core values of excellence, lifelong relationships, lifelong learning, inclusiveness and diversity, global citizenship, advocacy and RBVRRWCP pride.
  • Participate faithfully and consistently in Alumni Committee meetings.
  • Participate actively in strategic and long range program planning to promote alumni awareness, engagement and commitment to the college.
  • Enthusiastically communicate the mission and purpose of the college and Alumni Association to the wider alumni population.
  • Support a strong relationship between the Alumni Association and current students.
  • Remain constantly informed about the college and the Alumni Association’s mission, services, priorities and programs.
  • Recognize fellow alumni who are distinguished by their loyalty, professional achievement and community service.
  • Assist current students and alumni in career planning, placement and transitions.
  • Develop strong working relationships with other Alumni Committee members.
